Corcoran Dwellings didn't start as a franchise play. It started in 2011 as DWELL Real Estate — Marc Rasmussen's vision for what a boutique real estate firm could be. After years at RE/MAX, Sotheby's International Realty, and Michael Saunders, Marc had seen how the big shops operated. He wanted something different: a smaller, tighter team of high-integrity agents focused on elevating the standard of real estate in Sarasota rather than simply adding headcount.
That approach worked. By the end of 2021 — DWELL's 10th year — the firm had closed over $200 million in sales. Not because of volume for volume's sake, but because of the quality of the people and the consistency of the experience

Marc has been a Sarasota resident since 1994, when he graduated from the University of Florida with a degree in Finance. After six years in finance and mortgage lending — which introduced him to real estate — he began selling in 2000 and never looked back.
An early adopter of internet marketing, Marc built one of Sarasota's most-visited real estate websites long before most agents understood what SEO meant. That same instinct for staying ahead of the market is what drives how Corcoran Dwellings operates today. Marc holds the CLHMS designation, is a member of the Institute for Luxury Home Marketing, and is a Million Dollar Guild member.
Liane Jamason — Owner & Broker, St. Petersburg
Liane brought Corcoran Dwellings to St. Petersburg — and with her, a reputation that was already well established. Previously the lead agent at Jamason Group at Smith & Associates, Liane closed over $24 million in sales in 2018 alone and built a clientele that followed her because of who she is, not just what she sells.
A familiar face in the Tampa Bay market, Liane has appeared regularly on Bay News 9, 10 News, and ABC Action News as a real estate expert. She holds a BS in Business Management from Palm Beach Atlantic University and is deeply involved in the community — volunteering with the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, St. Jude's, the American Heart Association, and Johns Hopkins All Children's Hospital, where she also serves as a pet therapy escort alongside her therapy golden retriever, Tigi.
